I cannot get Vista to install, no mater what i do it wont work. I am trying to install vista ultimate, i have tried a complete instillation from boot and i get to select my country and then pres install and i get presented with a screen asking for drivers. I don't understand why as my HDD is IDE.

I am running vista ultimate. I have tried to download an update that my virus software company says I need to fix a problem. When I go to update site it is recommended for vista but after I try to download it, it says i don't need it and stops install. There is also another update that says failed on update list.
